🎸 Warman Tennessee Revivals Humbucker Pickups – matched chrome pair

Classic Tone. Smooth Character. Vintage Vibe Without the Vintage Price

If your guitar tone should sound like it’s been aged in a smoky bar somewhere between Nashville and 1972… the Tennessee Revivals are exactly what you’re after.

These are low-to-medium output humbuckers built for warmth, clarity, and that unmistakable vintage character—perfect for players who want feel, dynamics, and tone that breathes rather than shouts.

🔥 What Makes Tennessee Revivals Special?

While some pickups try to blow the doors off, these take a different approach.

You get:

  • Warm, rounded lows
  • Smooth, musical mids
  • Sweet, open highs (no ice-pick nonsense)
  • Excellent note definition and dynamics – Bridge 13.85k, 7.53 Henries. Neck 7.02k, 3.79 Henries

They respond to your playing—dig in and they growl, ease off and they clean up beautifully.

🎵 What Do They Sound Like?

Think:

  • Classic rock rhythm tones
  • Bluesy lead lines with natural warmth
  • Clean sounds that shimmer without harshness

They’ve got that “played-in” feel straight out of the box—like they’ve already done a few decades of gigs and know exactly what they’re doing.

🎯 Best For These Styles

Tennessee Revivals are ideal for:

  • Blues
  • Classic rock
  • Country
  • Indie
  • Jazz (with the tone rolled back a touch)

If your tone goals involve feel, expression, and character, rather than sheer output, these will suit you perfectly.

⚙️ Key Features

  • Vintage-style low to medium output humbuckers
  • Smooth, balanced EQ response
  • Excellent clarity for chords and lead work
  • Warm, expressive tone with dynamic response
  • Low noise operation (because hum is only good in a choir)

🔧 Versatile and Easy to Work With

Want to squeeze even more tones out of them?

These pickups are ideal for:

  • Coil splitting for brighter single coil-style tones
  • Parallel wiring for extra clarity
  • Classic wiring setups for traditional sounds

They’re just as comfortable in a straightforward setup as they are in a fully “warmanised” wiring experiment.

💡 Why Choose Tennessee Revivals?

If your current pickups sound:

  • Harsh
  • Sterile
  • Too modern
  • Or lacking personality

The Tennessee Revivals bring back warmth, character, and musicality—without emptying your wallet.

🛠️ Built on Real Experience

These aren’t designed by guessing what “vintage” might mean—they’re shaped by years of building, wiring, and chasing great tone in the real world.

They do what good pickups should do:
👉 Let your playing come through

🚀 The Bottom Line

If you want:

  • Classic tone
  • Smooth response
  • A pickup that reacts to your touch

The Tennessee Revivals deliver vintage character in a modern, reliable package.

🎸 Final Thought

Not every pickup needs to shout.

Some just sit back, sound incredible… and make you play better without even realising it.

I bought a set of these to replace the muddy sounding Gretsch humbuckers on my cheap and cheerful jet club electromatic. They have fantastic clarity and definition and are perfect for the clean tones I mainly use and have totally transformed the guitar into a thoroughly usable gigging instrument. Highly impressed and would recommend to anyone.

  2. alferg12 (verified owner)

Neck and bridge pickups are both fantastic pick ups in their own right. I recommend trying the neck in parallel together with the bridge in series to get a great tone with full highs, mids and bass. Really blew me away, especially considering the price tag.

Even if you’re not planning to do anything fancy and just use them as standard humbuckers, they’re a very impressive bit of kit. Highly recommend.

These pickups are great. Great PAF tone, so much clarity,
Sounds great clean or distorted. Sounds amazing with my overdrive pedal.
For the money, these are amazing pickups. Blew me away.

I’ve never had really expensive pickups but now I know what they should sound like. These are amazing. So beautiful sounding. Every note clear regardless of gain level and their response to guitar volume control and picking dynamics is fantastic. I have them in a Telecaster and they easily go from crystal clear chime, through creamy blues to SG style crunch while still retaining that classic Tele spank. Buy some. I will again

  5. anatol (verified owner)

Great pickups – warm and bright, exactly the sound I prefer.
I had to pay additionally about 20 EUR custom taxes for import in Germany, I do not know if it possible to avoid. But they are still 200% worth it. Thanks!

  6. pauluncle (verified owner)

Bought these to put in guitar that I’m selling, and I’m absolutely blown away by their sound clean and driven. I play lots of cleans through fender amps and this doesn’t get muddy or bogged down unlike a lot of humbuckers, I will definitely be buying more for my own guitars soon.

Very impressed. Great clean tone with plenty of bite and definition when over-driven. Validation that you don’t need to spend £££s for good sound and quality.
