Description
The Warman Peacemaker 4 wire humbucker but single coil sized. Twin rail warm humbucker that fits into a standard single coil sized pup or scratch guard mount with no ( or sometimes just a little ) modification. Get the clarity and warmth of single coils with all the hum cancelling abilities of a true humbucker. No more 60 cycle hum from your Strat nor loss of clarity on extreme bends. It can be used in bridge, mid or neck position, or indeed all 3 together.
This is a 4 wire output humbucker so each of the coils can be tapped or wired in parallel for alternative tones from the pickup.
Why do we term the Peacemaker 4 wire humbucker a “Warm Humbucker” ?
Whilst this is over wound when compared to a standard Strat type coil its about half the output of our true hot rail, The Twin Loco ( also listed on eBay ) Wound to 7.32 kOhm with both coil in series the Peacemaker® puts out 4.73 Henries of inductance / power. It will give you sweet chiming highs with plenty of mid and low end but will buck that hum out of your signal.
Manufactured to a high standard the Peacemaker® has metal inserts for the height adjustment screws, which are provided along with springs, and as with all Warman pickups it’s been wax potted.
Due to the baseplate design and the metal inserts for the height adjustment screws this pickup is supplied with M 3.5mm slot head height screws.

The sound of these pickups are superb, I was looking into jbl Danny Gatton pickups for my tele but the price is ridiculous… these are a fraction of the cost, very clear bass mid and treble and can still get brilliant crunch/hard rock distortion without the hum. I had to modify my scratch plate for it to fit properly, but changing pickups I did expect this. It was well worth the fun of modding and for the price you can’t go wrong… Josi was also super helpful in questions I had, very quick response and awesome service. I’ll definitely get them again.

I ordered the Peacemaker for the neck position on my HSS washburn.. The sound is beautifully warm, without being muddy,with a clear top end,rich lows and full mid range. It’s so good that I’ve ordered another for the mid position too! As a bonus I’ve added a coil tap in the mix which gives my guitar even more tonal capabilites.. Again,in tapped mode the peacemaker still retains clarity and crispness without being brittle.. A superb humbucker,especially for the price.

Fantastic pickup for the price. I had been searching for something with a bit more output to put into my strat and this has completely transformed the guitar for the better. I’d choose it even over some of the more expensive hot rails on the market. I had to slightly modify the pick guard to fit it in but 10 minutes with a file and it was perfect! Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed especially at this price.
