Description
Blade humbucker Soapy Stealth 5/7. Being a blade pickup this versatile pickup can be used on a variety of guitars. 7 String guitars and 4 string basses. It has the same string span as our MM5 bass humbucker and can be used on narrower span 5 string basses. Dimensions are shown in the photos.
This pickup has a resistance of 12.43 kOhm but more importantly puts out a punchy 4.64 Henries of inductance, the true measure of the power of a pickup. The photo with the green lines shows the magnetic field around the rails. Coils are fully potted in resin.
Length of rails is 74mm approx.
The wiring harness colour codes go like this.
- Black = negative of coil 1 South
- White = positive of coil 1
- Red = negative of coil 2 North
- Green = positive of coil 2
The pickup comes pre-wired in series with the red and white wires, that link the two coilss, ready joined. The pickup is also resin potted and sealed. Supplied with mounting screws and short mounting springs.
