Warman Deadly Sinners 7 string humbuckers – pair of matched HOT overwound 7 string humbucker pickups – supplied with mounting springs and screws. These are the 4 wire ( plus earth ) variant that can be coil cut or series / parallel switched.
Warman Deadly Sinner pick ups are a twin open coil humbucker in a black casing with adjustable poles and non adjustable fixed height slugs so that you can fine tune the pickups for optimised output across all seven strings. The pickups give a huge range of tones with loads of heavy punchy lows,warm mids and power. Pinched harmonics are easy to produce time and again due to the excellent range of frequency responses.
Bridge Sinner – 61mm overall string span over the centres of the 7 poles, wound to a 15.53 kohm which when interacting with the magnet produces a face melting 8.98 Henry of inductance. A truly mighty pickup with awesome metal abilities.
Neck Sinner – 58mm overall string span across the poles, wound to a more mellow ( well when compared to its more badly behaved bridge brother ) 7.97 k which produces 4.72 Henry for warm and powerful chords with a broad tonal spectrum for when the ferocity backs off a little. Also sounds fantastic if you are one of those metal players that likes the thicker tones of soloing on the neck.
Slug poles are North, Screw poles are South.
To give you some idea of the power of the pickups a DiMarzio ( TM ) Dual sound pickup with the coils in series, i.e at its most powerful setting, has an inductance of 6.4 Henry and an EMG-Select SEHG has an inductance of 4.2 Henry.
Warman Deadly Sinners 7 string humbuckers use ceramic magnets as these are even brighter than Alnico V or III, and in higher output pickups to help counterbalance the treble lost by the higher resistance (remember higher resistance means more midrange, but less highs).
