Description
P90 stacked Humbucker Soapbar pickup – a humbucking pair of P90 coils stacked on top of each other. Very high output, see specs below. Now you can have the look and tone of a P90 but minus the noise.
Bridge Stacked P90 Humbucker.
- Wound to 19.16 kOhms resistance wired in series
- Powerful ceramic and Alnico 5 magnets producing 18.70 H of inductance
- 52mm string span
- overall depth of pickup is 27.5mm
Neck Stacked P90
- Wound to 16.44 kOhms resistance wired in series
- One ceramic and one Alnico 5 magnet producing 14.65 H of inductance
- 50mm string span
- overall depth of pickup is 27.5mm
These have a 4 wire output so can be wired series, parallel or coil cut. Black and white wire are the bottom coil if you are going to coil cut them. Using a spin split potentiometer would do this job brilliantly, enabling your dial in the exact amount of cut.
Please note that it is pretty much guaranteed that you will need to modify the routes on your guitar as they are much taller than standard Soapbars and the cable exits the coil housing differently.
