Description
A set of 4 brass guitar neck shims to adjust the angle on bolt on guitar necks.
In the pack you get
- 1x 1mm thick shim,
- 1x 0.5mm shim
- 2x 0.2mm thick shims
Thicknesses quoted are approximate.
Each shim is approx 50mm long by 10mm and has two elongated holes allowing for screw centres of between approximately 40mm to 35mm.
The angle of the guitar neck can be adjusted by inserting differing size shim between the neck and the neck pocket prior to tightening the neck screws up.
Placing shims nearest to the neck pickup will help tilt the neck further back and shims placed on the screws the other end of the neck pocket will tilt the neck forward.
By trial and error you should be able to adjust the neck to an angle that suits you.
