Description
Warman Destroyer Humbucker Pickup – bridge position
High Output Power. Tight Response. Zero Apologies.
If your tone needs to hit harder, cut sharper, and stop sounding like it’s wrapped in a duvet… the Destroyer is your new best mate.
Built for players who want serious output without losing clarity, the Warman Destroyer humbucker delivers aggressive punch, tight low end, and enough midrange bite to slice clean through any mix—whether you’re on stage or rattling the windows at home.
🔥 What Makes the Destroyer Different?
This isn’t just a “hot pickup” that turns everything into mush.
The Destroyer is designed to give you:
- High output without mud. 16.09kOhm and 7.11 Henries inductance
- Tight, controlled bass (no flabby low-end nonsense)
- Focused mids for cutting power
- Clear highs that don’t take your head off
In other words… it’s loud, but it behaves itself.
🎵 What Does It Sound Like?
Think:
- Punchy, modern rock rhythm
- Tight palm-muted chugs
- Singing lead tones with sustain for days
It handles gain beautifully but still cleans up when you roll back the volume—so you’re not stuck in permanent “full chaos mode” (unless you want to be).
🎯 What Styles Is It Best For?
The Destroyer is right at home in:
- Rock
- Hard rock
- Metal
- Punk
- Anything involving distortion, attitude, or mild aggression
It’s especially good if you want your guitar to stand out in a band mix, not disappear behind the drummer’s enthusiasm.
⚙️ Key Features
- High output humbucker design
- Powerful magnet structure for strong attack
- Balanced frequency response (tight lows, punchy mids, clear highs)
- Low noise performance (no hum, no fuss)
- Suitable for bridge or neck positions (though it really loves the bridge)
🔧 Easy to Install, Easy to Modify
Like all Warman pickups, the Destroyer is built with flexibility in mind.
Want more tones?
You can wire it for:
- Coil split (single coil tones)
- Series/parallel switching
- Phase options
Perfect if you like your guitar to do more than one trick.
💡 Why Upgrade to a Destroyer?
If your current pickups sound:
- Weak
- Muddy
- Lifeless
- Or just a bit… meh
The Destroyer is a straightforward, affordable upgrade that can completely transform your guitar.
No need to buy a new instrument—just give your current one a proper voice.
🛠️ Built by People Who Actually Use Them
These aren’t designed in a boardroom—they’re shaped by decades of hands-on guitar building, wiring, and real-world playing.
No hype. No gimmicks. Just pickups that do the job properly.
Over 45 years of guitar building and fettling experience goes into our pickups.
(Though we won’t deny they look the part too.)
🚀 The Bottom Line
If you want:
- More power
- More clarity
- More presence
The Warman Destroyer delivers all three—without the boutique price tag or marketing fluff.
🎸 Final Word
Some pickups whisper.
Some politely suggest.
The Destroyer… kicks the door in and makes itself known.

Wow….mounted a pair on my PRS instead of SD ones, another world, amazing sound, body and brilliance.
Now I buy some more pickup from Warman, if quality is the same I think they will be my new standard for pickups!

I put this Destroyer on a Jackson kept only for sentimental value…..the result is impressive, like in the Cinderella story…. beautiful sound and comfort to play ….All Warman pickups that I bought gave extraordinary results, for what a price !!!!, not only on cheap guitars or forgotten around the house….I will definitely test them on guitars that I didn’t want to change anything.

I was never happy with the standard roswell pickups in my Harley Benton pro series, they really let it down. Muddy sounding with little definition of the notes. I fitted a set of these and wow, what an amazing difference..!! It now sounds like it should, biting gritty, heavy and rocking but if you wind the volume back it starts to clear up nicely. Really happy with these, well made and quick delivery. Highly recommend

I bought a paid of these for a Les Paul project (DIY Kit). They are great, not only in terms of value but also performance. Clear but punchy. Great for the rock/metal that I tend to play but also send good on clean tones. I have Ibanez RG prestige with Dimarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton and I would put these on par with them in terms of tone. I will definitely be trying more and would recommend to anyone seeking a great sounding and great value pickup
