When you see a part on our website labelled as “Warmanised,” it means it’s been done. Taken through our time-honoured (and slightly bonkers) rituals. Refinement, modification, and spiritual enhancement using a substance known only to us as Warmanite™.
This isn’t marketing fluff. (Well, not just fluff.) It’s a genuine process of upgrading, testing, fiddling, and refusing to settle for “that’ll do.”
🔮 What Is Warmanite™?
Warmanite is our mythical, not-entirely-classifiable substance responsible for transforming basic components into Warman family royalty.
Some say it’s made from the solder fumes of a thousand rewired guitars. Others say it’s found only in the tonal fallout of a perfectly bent G string. The truth? Let’s just say it’s a top-secret mix of experience and innovation. That Warman spirit that doesn’t rest until things sound right.
Whatever it is — a pinch of Warmanite is enough to make a pickup sing. Perhaps make a switch behave better, or a humble capacitor feel important.
🔧 So What Happens When We or You Warmanise Something?
Here’s a peek behind the curtain of the Warmanising ritual:
1. Choose the bits
It starts with a victim — er, component. Sometimes fresh and raw from our Warmanite mines. Something Igor has been working on in his pit. Sometimes already partially built. All arrive at Warman HQ with potential. But they’re not Warman yet.
2. Inspection and Judgment
We poke it, prod it, twist it, plug it in. If it survives the first few rounds without starting a small fire or insulting our ears, it moves on. ( We’re thorough, not cruel. )
3. Infusion of Warmanite
Here’s where the real work begins.
Depending on the part, this could mean:
- Designing and voicing a pickup to Warman spec.
- Fiddling with a switch to enable coil splits, phase reversal, or secret tone tricks.
- Swapping out materials for higher-grade stuff.
- Hugging it, encouraging and giving it the confidence it never knew it lacked.
It’s part workshop science, part dark arts, and part “hold my beer, I’ve got an idea.”
4. Testing and Tuning
No Warmanised part escapes without getting tested — often in real guitars, through real amps, at volumes that upset neighbours. Only when we’re satisfied that it’s better does it earn the Warman seal.
5. Deployment
Finally, it’s ready. It gets bagged up, often with a bit of sass on the label, and added to our shop. Whether it’s heading to your pedal board, your Strat, or your steampunk tele-harpsichord, it’s now part of the Warmanite family.

A Warmaniser is someone who performs the sacred act of Warmanising. That’s usually us, in the Warman lab, fueled by coffee and tone obsession. But — and here’s the magic — you can be a Warmaniser too.
If you take our parts, our pickups, our daft-but-brilliant wiring kits and you do the thing… you are one of us.
You’re part of the cult. Sorry, family. Definitely not a cult.
🪄 What Makes a Part Truly Warmanised?
A Warmanised part isn’t just better — it’s smarter. Sharper. Meaner. Nicer. Louder. Smoother. It’s got a bit of swagger.
To be Warmanised, a part must:
- Be devised, modified or improved by us.
- Function more reliably and musically.
- Often serve more than one purpose (e.g. a DPDT switch that opens up multiple tone paths).
- Integrate easily with Warman pickups and wiring setups.
It also comes with the smug satisfaction of knowing your guitar has had a proper upgrade. Not just a shiny new bit, but a Warmanised one.
🧠 But Isn’t This Just Branding Nonsense?
We prefer to call it branding brilliance, thanks.
But yes — there’s a story here. There’s humour. There’s mystery. But under all that, there’s real work and real improvement in everything we sell as Warmanised.
